Central West Equine
A New Dedicated Equine Practice will be opened
By Senator Bill Heffernan on 1st August.
Central West Equine will provide horse owners in Orange and the surrounding area with access to a purpose built veterinary clinic with state of the art equipment. It will be led by Dr David Searle, an equine veterinarian with 20 years’ experience. Since graduating from University Dr Searle has concentrated on working with horses ranging from the elite thoroughbred race horse, performance and pleasure horses to the well loved kids pony.
As owner/manager of his previous practice on the south coast and southern highlands of NSW Dr Searle developed Embryonix, a dedicated equine reproduction service. Central West Equine will be able to provide Central West horse owners with a range of breeding, surgical and medical services. These services will include lameness diagnosis, emergency medicine, pre-purchase examinations, equine dentistry, stem cell therapies as well as a complete range of advance reproductive services including chilled and frozen semen artificial insemination, embryo transfer and freezing, stallion semen collection, evaluation and freezing.
David and his wife Debbie have always loved the Orange area and saw the opportunity in the region to develop an Equine only veterinary practice to service the large number of horses in the Orange and surrounding areas. David, Debbie and their 3 children have moved from the South Coast and are really enjoying all Orange has to offer.
To celebrate the opening of this exciting new equine practice, Senator Bill Heffernan will attend its opening on 1st August commencing at 12pm. The new Central West Equine clinic is located at 960 Cadia Road, Springside (formerly Eagle Park Stud) only 10 minutes from the centre of Orange. Dr Searle will be giving a talk on equine reproduction and attendees will be able to enjoy a sausage sizzle, coffee van, lucky door prizes, guessing competition and jumping castle for children’s entertainment.
For further information, please contact Dr David Searle directly on 0438 696 708 who will be able to answer your questions and explain in greater detail the benefits that this new equine practice will bring to the Central West region of NSW.
